Marine Products - Plywood and Hardwood

Teak and Holly plywoodGeneral Woodcraft has been supplying high quality wood products to the local community since 1949. Along the way, we've learned a lot from sailors, mariners, boat builders and other clients about marine products, including various marine grade plywoods, and the best hardwoods for boats. That's why we offer these high quality marine grade building products for you.

Whether you need replacement parts for your boat, have a marine construction business or own and operate a marina, we have an in-stock product offering that we hope will meet your project needs.

Marine Grade Plywood:

The main differences between marine grade plywood and standard exterior plywoods are: the wood species (and grade) and the marine grade resins and glues that hold the various plies together. These specialized glues handle the harsh weather and punishment of marine environments better, and longer, than the standard glues of exterior plywood.
