GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:Moderately difficult to saw. Turns, glues, and finishes satisfactorily. Planing is difficult. Steam-bends as well as White oak
USES:Tool handles. It is also used for steam-bent parts, flooring, turnery, furniture and cabinetwork, veneer, plywood and other specialty items.
